2012年9月18日下午，美国史蒂文斯理工学院谭伟平博士应邀访问betway唯一官网能源与环境政策研究中心（CEEP-BIT），并在中心会议室作学术报告，报告主题为Readiness assessment and advancement for development of complex systems。报告会由张跃军副教授主持，部分研究生和校外研究人员参加了报告会。     报告中，谭博士介绍了复杂系统建模领域的一些基本问题，以及多功能、多用途的一些基本概念。为了实现复杂系统多功能与多用途的最终目的，谭伟平博士提出了准确度的概念，通过分析准确度的不同层次来实现不同的系统目标。     报告后，与会研究人员和谭博士就复杂系统准备度的研究前景、评估准备度的具体方法以及系统科学的研究特点等问题展开了讨论。

谭伟平博士简介：
    Dr. Tan received his B.E. with first class honor in 2006 in Automatic Control from Beijing Institute of Technology, M.E. and Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He holds two graduate certificates in Project Management and Infrastructure Management. His research interest covers developing methodologies for the assessment and advancement for complex systems using modeling & simulation and optimization techniques. He was elected to Epsilon Mu Eta – the Engineering Management Honor Society, and was the recipient of the Brian Mar Best Student Paper Award at the 2009 INCOSE International Symposium. Dr. Tan has published papers on several journals including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Journal of Systems Engineering, and has been invited to review papers for IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, IEEE Systems Journal, System Research Forum, Journal of Systems Engineering, and International Journal of Engineering Management and Economics.
